Outside IR35 Contract Opportunity!

Process Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation with over 100 people at their West Yorkshire facility, this impressive engineering business has become a critical supplier to a number of high-profile organisations, operating in a vast array of sectors, including Chemical, Food/FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Utilities. Due to continued growth and demand of their services, the company are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract outside IR35.

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates to have extensive experience in process design, project management, and client engagement within the sectors of oil and gas, petrochemicals, water and wastewater treatment, and industrial processes in delivering technical solutions, managing projects, and developing key relationships with clients.

Pay Rate and Other Details:

  • Between £50 - £60 Per Hour
  • Ability to be paid Outside IR35
  • Duration: Up to 6 Months
  • Site Based: Monday - Friday

Process Engineer Responsibilities

  • Create and update process flow diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Verify existing process flow, mass, and energy balances.
  • Prepare schedules for equipment, fluids, and line lists.
  • Perform necessary process calculations.
  • Develop a pressure relief strategy and summary list.
  • Conduct a fire protection study and create a fire protection policy.
  • Collaborate with EC&I Engineers to develop control system specs and URS.
  • Perform hazardous area classification and verification.
  • Create process data sheets and specifications for key equipment (pumps, valves, etc.).
  • Attend and facilitate HAZOP studies and LOPA sessions as needed.
