FCERM Business Case Specialist

  • Contract

  • Remote working. In Leeds 3 times a month maximum.

Looking for

  • Someone with FCERM experience to undertake economic appraisal work for Flood alleviation and coastal erosion risk management projects.

Requirement:

  • Working with the Environment Agency to deliver economic appraisal business case developments with a focus on the costs associated with flooding.
  • Assisting in the delivery of capital schemes to reduce flood risk
  • Looking at locations with a history of flood risk and establishing the best ways to protect them.
  • Getting involved in technical flood alleviation schemes using FCERM-AG and funding calculator in line with HM Treasury.
  • Participating in the development and design of flood risk solutions within the agreed time line and budget.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in FCERM project appraisal, option development and outline design.
  • Experience of hydraulic modelling or hydrology for flood risk.
  • Have used GIS.
