Chief Quality Inspector
We are currently recruiting a talented Chief Quality Inspector for our client. Who are a leading precision engineering company with a rich history of excellence for many decades. This role is based in their Leeds facility where they produce high-precision components for a variety of industries.
Key Requirements for a Chief Quality Inspector
- Must have over 7 years hands on working experience as a Quality Inspector
- Must have very strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
- Advanced CMM programming skills are required - over 5 years
- Any experience of Mititoyo will be a distinct advantage
- Must be a competent user of measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, Micrometers, CMMs and vision systems
- Some experience of leadership will be required
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
- Relevant certifications in quality management or related fields are a plus.
- Basic Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors.
- Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes.
- Identify and address quality issues and non-conformities

Working Hours: 7.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30 - 2pm on Friday
