We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join a  dynamic team within a leading food manufacturing company. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across flexible shifts, alternating between Thursday to Sunday and Monday to Friday. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are safe, legally compliant, and meet the high-quality standards expected by our customers.

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Technician:

  • Support the business in delivering safe and legally compliant food products.
  • Conduct thorough audits of the manufacturing facility, covering areas such as GMP, hygiene, glass, and other foreign body checks, as well as procedural compliance.
  • Investigate customer complaints to determine root causes and support the identification of preventive measures.
  • Coordinate the sending of samples for laboratory analysis and interpret incoming results, escalating any out-of-specification results as required.
  • Ensure that brand integrity is maintained at all times, following company policies and procedures.

Requirements of a Quality Assurance Technician:

  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance or Quality Technician role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene standards, and compliance processes.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across the required shift patterns.
  • Experience in conducting audits, handling customer complaints, and managing quality control processes.
