Position: Dimensional Quality Inspector
Hourly Rate: 15.89
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Dimensional Quality Inspector to join our esteemed precision engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products adhere to specifications through meticulous testing and inspection. Your duties will include validating incoming products and approving finished goods, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve finished products by conducting visual and dimensional inspections.
- Validate incoming products to ensure they meet all visual and dimensional criteria.
- Maintain and coordinate repairs for measurement equipment.
- Uphold safety and health standards in the workplace.
- Train and support team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments and take on additional tasks as required.
- Operate Mitutoyo CMM.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using standard engineering tools and inspecting machined components.
- Experience with programming and operating Mitutoyo or Aberlink CMMs.
- Knowledge of procedures for handling non-conforming products and adhering to customer specifications.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Faro Arms and Trimos Vertical Height Gauge.
