My client is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their Engineering & Manufacturing team to ensure the highest quality products. The role will include inspecting goods, analysing measurements and reporting on quality.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Operating CMM.
  • Inspecting and measuring materials, products, and installations to specifications.
  • Documenting inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Communicating inspection results to manufacturing staff.
  • Analysing inspection results and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Recommending modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
  • Setting up and performing destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
  • Participating in the development of new product designs to ensure manufacturability and conformance with global quality standards.
  • Supporting all regulatory, health and safety standards.

Profile

A successful Quality Inspector should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and data analysis software.
  • Strong mathematical and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
