Job Title: Trainee Quality Inspector

Location: Leeds, UK

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, Early Finish Fridays

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Leeds, is looking for a Trainee Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in machining who wants to take their career to the next level and transition into quality inspection. As a Trainee Quality Inspector, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and receive full training to become a fully skilled Quality Inspector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect components to ensure they meet industry and customer quality standards.
• Work with the quality team to carry out checks on precision-engineered parts.
• Assist in the use and programming of CMM machines for quality inspection.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to assess product tolerances.
• Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a machinist or in a similar hands-on engineering role.
• A desire to progress into a quality-focused role.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in quality inspection.
