Our client is a Yorkshire based green energy contractor delivering works for clients both nationally and internationally. They are currently overseeing a wide range of M&E schemes and are looking to recruit an experienced programme manager to lead the creation of a PMO function.
The successful applicant will manage a large portfolio of multidisciplinary heat distribution schemes, with line management responsibility for a team of project managers. They will be a point of contact for directors and heads of unit and will take responsibility for ensuring the on time, on budget and safe delivery of network heating schemes.
To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria
- You will be an experienced senior project manager / programme manager
- You will have extensive experience in a PMO function
- Strong risk management experience is essential
- You must have excellent communication skills
- You will have a wide range of generalist M&E / construction / engineering experience
- District heating experience will be a firm advantage
- You will be degree qualified in a relevant subject
- Project management qualifications such as Agile, PMP or Prince 2 are required
- You must be based along the M62 corridor but available to travel as required
- You must be fully eligible to work in the UK
- Driving license is essential.
