Our client is a Yorkshire based green energy contractor delivering works for clients both nationally and internationally. They are currently overseeing a wide range of M&E schemes and are looking to recruit an experienced programme manager to lead the creation of a PMO function.

The successful applicant will manage a large portfolio of multidisciplinary heat distribution schemes, with line management responsibility for a team of project managers. They will be a point of contact for directors and heads of unit and will take responsibility for ensuring the on time, on budget and safe delivery of network heating schemes.

  • You will be an experienced senior project manager / programme manager
  • You will have extensive experience in a PMO function
  • Strong risk management experience is essential
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • You will have a wide range of generalist M&E / construction / engineering experience
  • District heating experience will be a firm advantage
  • You will be degree qualified in a relevant subject
  • Project management qualifications such as Agile, PMP or Prince 2 are required
  • You must be based along the M62 corridor but available to travel as required
  • You must be fully eligible to work in the UK
  • Driving license is essential.
