Nexus Recruitment have been instructed by a global, leading developer in the Student Living space, who specialise in the production of super high-end PBSA across the UK and Ireland. Our client is looking for a General Manager for their brand-new scheme opening in September 2025.
Core responsibilities:
- Based at their Marketing suite until opening, you will be selling and dealing with the leasing strategy to ensure full occupancy.
- Liaising with the clients and investors on a daily basis with the mobilisation and preopening of the site
- Recruitment of your on-site team, including maintenance, operations, and housekeeping
- Once open, the day-to-day management of roughly 550 beds plus luxury amenities such as a gym and games room
- Full responsibility of your P&L for the scheme, with support from the Regional Manager
This role does have progression into a multi site manager position as our client is looking to expand in Ireland, specifically Dublin. The following skillset/track record is preferred:
- A proven track record managing your own site, and managing the P&L
- Previous experience with preopening is ideal but not essential!
- Excellent client engagement and stakeholder management skills - this will be an extremely client facing position and the investors will be speaking with you regularly
- Previous experience in PBSA or BTR is essential

- A salary of up to €55,000pa
