Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tendering process for the client
  • Carry out detailed estimating and cost analysis
  • Prepare and submit tender documents
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive project plans
  • Ensure all tender submissions are accurate and submitted on time
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for tenders
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the pre-construction phase
  • Monitor and report on tender progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Broad experience across various civil engineering sectors
  • Strong estimating and cost analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management and estimating software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant Tickets/Certifications:
    • CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
    • First Aid at Work

Preferred Candidates:

  • Experienced Project Managers looking to transition to an office-based role
  • Younger Project Managers or Site Agents willing to be trained in tendering
