12-month FTC Project Manager vacancy with a growing manufacturer based in Leeds. With continued year on year growth, the business is expanding their facility and are looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate this expansion/relocation.

My client is a hugely successful Leeds based manufacturer who supply an exceptional range of engineered products to a large customer base, both across the UK and internationally.

Having experienced impressive growth in recent years, they are now looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate a factory expansion/relocation.

Description

Reporting into the Operations Director this Project Manager role will be responsible for:

  • Co-ordinating a factory expansion and production line relocation.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring they are on time and in budget.
  • Leading and motivating a cross-functional team including designers, engineers and production operators to achieve the project goals.
  • Effectively manage resources such as materials, equipment and personnel to optimise production.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Profile

Successful candidates will have a strong project management background and a good understanding of factory relocations and/or expansions. You will also possess:

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to lead and engage cross functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple external stakeholders regarding factory expansion.
  • Good understanding of production operations and working with the Operations Manager to maintain output whilst expansion project is ongoing.
  • Strong commercial acumen and decision making skillset at a high level.
