Our client is an accredited Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specializing in designing and installing electrical networks, including 33kV connections, for residential, commercial, and industrial developments across targeted DNO regions.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to manage low-volume, high-value electrical connection projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of new up to 33kV connections across DNOs in The North of England, ensuring customer deadlines are met.
  • Manage project budgets and track costs, addressing any changes in the project scope.
  • Set sub-contractors to work, monitor performance, and ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations throughout the project.

What we are looking for:

  • 5/+ years in the electrical utility industry, ideally with project management experience at an ICP or IDNO. Applicants with experience in fibre, water, or gas utilities will also be considered.
  • Must hold NRSWA, IOSH/SMSTS, and CSCS/EUSR certifications. Refresher training will be provided by the client if any certifications are near expiration to maintain competencies.
