Senior Design Manager

Starlyne Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for Senior Design Manager in the North Midlands and Yorkshire region.

This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional Tier 1 main contractor who deliver major residential /commercial and education regeneration schemes.

Responsabilities:

• Reporting to the Regional Design Manager and working alongside another Design Manager.
• Understand client requirements/output specs
• Ensure pricing assumptions are consistent with the development of the design - with Preconstruction manager
• Monitors design progress and ensures the accuracy and completeness of design variables at each stage of the design development process (ITN Phase / PB Phase / Construction Phase)
• Ensures that all resources for coordination are appointed
• Prepare monthly report to Design Leads
• Responsible for design compliance, build ability, efficiency of design and supporting the bid process.
• Responsible to lead the sign off of documents to the correct status

Requirements for theDesign Managerrole

As Senior Design Manager you will oversee and motivate the design team, which may include the Design Manager, Design Coordinator, and Document Controllers, working on the projects.

• Experience working in a Design/ Technical Manager role with a developer or main contractor
• Experience working on residential projects
• DfE Framework experience will be beneficial but not essential
