Our client are a public sector organisation who are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on the delivery of complex estates projects across sites in Leeds. This role will manage high-value refurbishments and redevelopments in live, operational environments, ensuring strategic improvements to the estate.

This role is paying around £65,000 per annum, working on a 12 month fixed term contract and requires an immediate start. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of complex and high-value estates projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Develop project strategies, manage risk, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and procurement regulations.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, working with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.
  • Manage contractor performance, ensuring quality control and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and carbon reduction strategies within estate improvements.
  • Provide expert guidance on estates strategy, supporting long-term planning and investment decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale estates projects in operational environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence at a senior level.
  • Expertise in project governance, CDM regulations, risk management, and contractor oversight.
  • Deep understanding of Health & Safety, procurement, and compliance requirements.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and adept at managing budgets and deadlines.
