Our client is a friendly family run property management business focusing on managing residential properties for over three decades and today their portfolio includes everything from rural conversions and listed buildings to contemporary city centre developments.

They are looking for a Trainee Property Manager to Join their team. They are looking for someone, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their colleagues to provide exceptional service, hitting key targets and KPI's. It is essential that you have strong administration experience and a high level of attention to detail. You will have a good working knowledge of Excel and be organised and pro-active.

Duties:

  • Working within the Property Management team, dealing with day to day maintenance issues received via phone, email, letters, and via our website.
  • Ensuring contracts are in place for all services at all properties.
  • Replying to client and leaseholder queries within predefined timescales.
  • Carry out site inspections on a scheduled basis using our bespoke inspection app.
  • Ensure fire risk and health and safety actions are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure periodic inspections relating to health and safety are undertaken to ensure the company complies with regulations.
  • Attend shareholder/director meetings as and when required.
  • Agree service charge budgets with the accounts department and attend budget meetings when required.
  • Ensure property expenditure is in line with budgeted amounts by periodically checking.
  • Save all correspondence in accordance with company practices.
  • Maintain property database for 'out of hours' service.
  • Promote the good name of the company.

Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role, with ongoing support.
