They are known for internal progression and friendly working environment are now seeking to add a Buying Admin Assistant to join the buying team

Description

  • Provide administrative support to the Buying Team across all categories
  • Assist with Monday Trade meeting preparation, using our systems to run reports and reviewing weekly sales analysis, best sellers and upcoming deliveries.
  • Presentations and comp shops; preparing and updating these for weekly/monthly meetings and generally maintaining on-going development sheets for the department.
  • Critical path management.
  • Sample management and tracking.
  • Photoshoot sample management.
  • Maintaining the shipment tracker with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the Buyer and Merchandiser in seasonal review and selection of the new season product range. Considering sales performance, price architecture, intake margin, identifying key styles and seasonality.
  • Provide presentations to wider business of the upcoming collection and highlight key products
  • Order raising and sku set up Providing the relevant information for orders to be raised and monitoring the accuracy of all orders to ensure the correct stock flow in to the business.
  • Collaborating with key functions: Ecom, Ops, Customer services and Marketing on a daily basis.
  • Carrying out competitive review to develop and maintain knowledge of the current market place and identify opportunities for the brand.
  • Take part in store visits alongside the Buyer and provide detailed feedback.
  • Additional ad-hoc tasks

Profile

  • Team player - ability to manage working relationships at all levels
  • Understanding of the clothing industry & trading environments. Broad knowledge of either retail or wholesale environments
  • Creative flair - ability to balance creative product selection with a commercial eye
  • Ideally to have a buying, fashion or textiles degree
