- Leading procurement activity for your specific business function, sourcing and negotiating goods and services.
- Defining and implementing strategy for your categories
- Managing the end-to-end procurement cycle, from source to contract
- Monitoring category spend, ensuring best value, consolidating supply where possible
- Contract management and supplier relationship management
- Representing Procurement in cross functional meetings
- Proven track record in indirect category management (ideally multisite)
- Category management knowledge within some of the following areas beneficial - Travel, PPE, Utilities, Property, Labour and Goods and Services
- Experienced in implementing category strategy
- Excellent stakeholder management/supplier relationship management, contract negotiation skills including rebates
- Self motivated, autonomous and driven with excellent analytical skills, accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially astute with a continuous improvement mindset
- MCIPS or equivalent experience beneficial
