Planning Team Leader Job Overview

My client are currently looking for a skilled Planning Team Leader to oversee and guide their Production Planning team. In this role, you'll lead efforts to optimise production schedules, manage finite capacity planning, and ensure seamless workflows.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Production Planning team to maintain and update work centre schedules in ORsoft and SAP, addressing capacity issues proactively.
  • Develop and manage short- and long-term production plans to support operation cells and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with production engineering and procurement to keep routing durations accurate.
  • Implement KPIs to track department performance, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective team communication through regular SQDCPI meetings and manage key SAP transactions as Planning Coordinator.
