- Sourcing new global brands to widen current brand portfolio
- Identifying gaps and opportunities to secure new brands, analysing product trends, benchmarking and researching the marketplace
- Negotiating buys/terms with supplier partners to maximise profitability
- Building relationships both internally and externally
- Proven Purchasing/Trading experience gained from within Wholesale would be ideal, FMCG essential
- Category purchasing experience of house/homeware, fragrance, gifting ‘known brands’ beneficial
- A dynamic Buyer and excellent negotiator/communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for sourcing the best deal
- A passion for retail and a keen understanding of consumer trends
- Tenacious and resilient with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
