QC Technician (Night Shift)
My client, a global speciality chemicals manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician to join their team in Lancashire. The role involves supporting the delivery of quality products and services through inspections, lab testing, and quality-related tasks. This position operates during night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
To be considered for the QC Technician you will have previous experience in a chemical manufacturing/production environment. You will also have experience conducting various QC tests, primarily GC and auto titration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct day-to-day inspections and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Perform lab testing, adhering to established QC test methods and processes.
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation in internal systems.
- Assist in developing or amending QC test procedures as needed.
- Ensure lab equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a QC, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Familiarity with handling building-type products and working in a chemical laboratory setting.
- Ability to multi-task and manage workloads under pressure.
