About the job:
- Work with the QA Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency.
- Support external product testing and ensure all products are built to specification.
- Collaborate with commercial and compliance teams to resolve supply chain, quality, or manufacturing issues.
- Maintain and audit product specifications to ensure correct manufacturing processes.
- Lead and support the facilitation of quality control processes across the site.
- Identify and document product or process issues and provide analysis.
- Prepare monthly quality reports and track quality KPIs.
- Understand customer needs and communicate quality standards to the production team.
- Develop measures to reduce returns and customer credits.
- Conduct toolbox talks on Quality processes.
- Support the NCR/8D process by analyzing non-conforming products and raising awareness of issues.
- Ensure incoming goods meet specifications.
- Assist in new product development, ensuring sustainable quality manufacturing from the design stage.
About you:
- Experience working with quality systems such as ISO9001.
- Experience gain within a Production / Manufacturing environment. Textile Industry would be highly desirable, however is not essential.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in exploring areas for improvement.
- Ability to work independently and remain positive under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines aligned with production requirements.
