As a Quality Control Manager, you will:
Ensure all new homes are built to the highest standards of quality.
Collaborate with diverse internal teams (Health & Safety, Commercial, Technical, Customer Service, Site Management, Sales, HR) and external stakeholders (Warranty Providers, Contractors, Registered Landlords) to maintain excellence.
Drive continuous improvements in processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Enhance warranty provider CQR scores to meet or exceed expectations.
Reduce DPR (Defect Per Residence) rates and RI (Reportable Items) scores.
Improve HQI (Home Quality Inspection) pass rates for all new homes.
Lead quality initiatives from site-level operations to overall business strategy.
Minimize avoidable costs by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
Ensure consistent quality across all stages of the construction process for new homes.
Boost customer satisfaction through robust quality control measures and seamless collaboration.
We are looking for a Quality Control Manager who possesses:
A proven track record in quality assurance or inspection within the housebuilding sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of building standards, warranty provider requirements, and NHBC regulations.
Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey expectations and feedback.
Leadership skills to inspire teams and maintain high standards.
Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office and COINS software.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to driving improvements.
A valid driving licence and resilience under pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Confidence to make decisions and take the initiative in fast-paced situations.
Strong relationship-building abilities and unwavering integrity.
