Key Purpose of the role -Quality Control Manager

To achieve a high level of quality and consistency across all construction stages to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction

To work in collaboration with other internal departments, including Health and Safety, Commercial, Technical, Customer Service, Site Management, Sales and HR.

Work in collaboration with external Warranty Providers, Registered Landlords, Contractors and colleagues.

Key Duties / Responsibilities-Quality Control Manager

The effectively improve the construction function through a high level of quality and consistency across all construction stages through;

  • Improving warranty provider CQR scores
  • Lowering DPR rates
  • Lowering RI scores
  • Improve HQI pass scores
  • Improve customer satisfaction scores
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Improve build consistency
  • Minimise avoidable costs
  • Drive quality from site through the BU

Experience

Proven track record delivering a high level of quality within an inspection role within the house building industry

Knowledge and experience of building standards and warranty provider requirements.

Key knowledge and skills

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Leadership skills and an ability to motivate your team to ensure a high standard of work

IT Skills-Microsoft packages and Coins

Commercial awareness

Future focused and drive change

Driving Licence essential

Personal attributes

Resilience and problem-solving skills

Well planned and organised

Strong attention to detail

Time Management skills-working to tight deadlines

An ability to make decisions under pressure.

Develop good relationships and act with integrity
