Quality Manager
Job Summary
This is a brand-new position where you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes comply with food safety, legality and quality requirements through all stages of the production process.
Significant focus will be centred on promoting quality awareness at all levels within the factory and instigating and promoting change.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the site is fully compliant with Food safety guidelines.
- Move quality accreditation from current SALSA to a recognised GFSI accreditation
- Development, Maintenance & Review of HACCP
- Devise and coordinate GMP and hygiene audits.
- Involvement in Customer and external audits
- Maintain the site ‘audit ready'
- Ensure raw materials/products deliveries are assessed to the standards required.
- Develop, maintain, and promote the QA culture through auditing, training and development of operations staff
- Verify production paperwork to ensure they are completed correctly
- Be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of food production equipment
