A medium-sized, international Construction & Property Consultancy operating across the UK, Europe and Australia is looking to add a client facing Construction Project Manager to their vibrant Leeds team.

The Construction Project Manager Role

This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to work on diverse Retail projects, from expansive superstores to bespoke convenience stores, encompassing a broad spectrum of clients including leading names in both food and non-food retail sectors, as well as complex Healthcare schemes.

The Construction Project Manager will lead and deliver large-scale retail & healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

With a portfolio that includes mixed-use stores with concessions and cafes, retail pods, and outdoor trading areas, the successful Construction Project Manager will demonstrate a deep understanding of these sectors and the unique challenges it presents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects across a variety of scales and complexities.
  • Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through exceptional service and understanding of their business needs, evidenced by our long-standing partnerships.
  • Effective communication with clients, ensuring clear and concise reporting on project status, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

The Construction Project Manager

The incoming Construction Project Manager will have:

  • Previous Project Management experience within a UK Construction Consultancy
  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification is highly desirable
  • Accredited by RICS, APM or CIOB - or committed to achieving
  • A successful track record managing projects from inception to completion through all RIBA stages
  • Retail or Healthcare sector experience is highly desirable
