Are you ready to take the next big step in your Quantity Surveying career? A leading national multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Intermediate to Project Running Quantity Surveyor to join their vibrant team in Leeds (open to Manchester as well).

This is your chance to work on a range of high-profile projects, with a primary focus on the banking and finance sector, driven by a thriving national framework agreement. You'll be instrumental in delivering new builds and refurbishment schemes across the region, making a real impact on projects that matter.

Full training and APC support is very much a given with his position.

Requirements:

  • Have strong communication (both written and verbal) skills and an interpersonal style that enables you to flourish in a direct client facing role
  • Knowledge in Employers Agent work will be key for this role
  • Either MRICS qualified or working towards your APC.
  • Be able to chair meetings and have the leadership skills needed to lead a project team, which may sometimes include managing conflict and resolving complex issues
  • Have exceptional planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands
  • Be able to work independently, make sensible judgments and decisions, and take responsibility for doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • To assist in the management of the delivery of all pre & post contract services, comprising dealing with cost variances and associated change control processes, conducting valuation processes, carrying out cost checks, producing regular cost reports, negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
