- Job Title:Quantity Surveyor
- Salary:40k to 60k DOE
- Location:Leeds / Hybrid working
- Working Hours:Flexible - Usual hours are 7:30am to 4pm

Overview of the role:
- Attend meetings with clients about pre-construction meetings.
- Identify project Risks & Opportunities
- Manage Contract & Collateral Warranty reviews and appraisals.
- Sub-contract package appraisals.
- Raising and issuing Sub-Contract orders and Payment Approvals.
- Manage Valuation & Invoice trackers.
- Reviewing contract obligations and identifying changes
- Prepare schedules before commencement on site
- Work closely with departments across the business to ensure smooth running of projects and time-scales.
- Assist with monthly cost / value reports, implementations of KPIs, and other commercial measures.
Required skills and experience:
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience within a Quantity Surveyor / Estimating role.
- Experience within the Rail environment.
- Knowledge of building contracts such as JCT. NEC3 would be highly desirable.
- An analytical thinker who can analyse and understand numbers to determine Risks & Opportunities.
- A clear communicator who can communicate clearly to different teams across the business.
- IT literate with excellent skills and knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
