A nationwide multidisciplinary Cost Management Consultancy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor for their Leeds Office.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

The selected Quantity Surveyor will join a supportive national team, gaining valuable training, guidance, and genuine opportunities for career development. You'll work across diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence, and heritage.

This consultancy offers a flexible hybrid working policy, requiring only two days per week in the office, and has cultivated a workplace that prioritizes employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Managing junior members of the team
  • Running Design Team Meetings, reporting on cost control matters
  • Cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and commercial reporting
  • Managing large & complex projects with responsibility for project cost control

The Quantity Surveyor

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC3 building contracts
  • Committed to delivering high-quality client service
  • Multi-sector experience in consultancy or construction
  • MRICS is highly desirable or currently working towards
  • Professional, compassionate attitude
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills
