Recruit4Staff is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for their client, a well-established Works Provider, based in Leeds.
The position offers a salary of up to £65,000 per annum and includes benefits such as 25 days holiday, a company pension scheme, and private medical insurance.
Candidates must possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification, along with extensive post-graduate experience, which is essential for the role.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contract terms, managing change events, and mentoring junior team members.
A full UK Driver License is also required, and experience in Passive Fire Protection is considered desirable.

What our client is offering for the successful Quantity Surveyor :

Up to £65,000 per annum
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm

The Role - Quantity Surveyor:

Review and ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions
Attend site as required and ensure commercial compliance is being followed
Ensure applications and invoices are issued on time, accurate, and in adherence to the contract terms
Commercially manage change events to a successful outcome
Review any debtors and assist the credit control team with any outstanding payments
Monthly reporting of WIP (management accounting) and CVR's (Cost Value Reports)
Review of weekly operational reports for commercial tracking
Provide contractual and commercial assistance on projects, including attending progress meetings and assisting with programme management
Commercially manage subcontractors
Mentor junior members of the team

What we are looking for in a Quantity Surveyor:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar industry-recognised qualification - ESSENTIAL
Extensive post-graduate experience - ESSENTIAL
Experience in Passive Fire Protection - DESIRABLE
Full UK Driver License - ESSENTIAL
