Client Details

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of multiple projects, primarily within social housing planned and responsive contracts. You will ensure that each project is delivered on budget while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Description

  • Manage commercial input from tender stage to project completion, supporting Assistant Quantity Surveyors as required.
  • Maximise project value, ensuring income and cash flow targets are met, while identifying ways to increase margin.
  • Prepare and present commercial agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee the tendering process, preparing tender documents, and ensuring competitive pricing.
  • Produce cost reports and analyse subcontractor applications.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company and client expectations, managing contractual risk.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and consultants, resolving issues effectively.
  • Ensure financial and quality compliance on subcontractor orders and provide input on monthly reporting and CVR processes.

Profile

  • Proven experience in social housing projects, including both planned and responsive contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of NHF Schedule of Works.
  • A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Confident IT skills and the ability to work flexibly, including travel.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
