Red Rock Consultants are recruiting fora motivated Quantity Surveyor for our well established client in Leeds, experience inall levels from a Civil Engineering contracting background to supplement the existing commercial team at theiroffices.
The role is varied and includes (but is not limited to):
- Measurement
- Identifying & valuing variations
- Providing contract advice and support to sites
- Preparation of Interim/Final accounts
- Claims submissions
- Internal cost/value reporting
- Cost forecasting & Budgeting
- Expected Cash forecasting
- Subcontract Procurement
- Attending meetings & negotiating with clients
The type of schemes are varied in value (250k - 15m), in scope of works Highway Construction, Earthworks, Remediation and Groundworks. Clients (mainly acting as PC for end user clients/developers including Process Plants, Commercial Developments & Infrastructure for Residential Developments)
Forms of contract include NEC (options A & B), ICE & JCT
The position is office based Monday-Friday.
Salary dependent on experience, benifits include car allowance or suitable company vehicle.
