Role: Leasing Associate (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

The Company:
The company operates a large portfolio specialising in small to large-scale living, commercial, and mixed-use developments. They are looking for a talented Leasing Associate to join the team based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with leasing/lettings experience to contribute to the success of the community and achieve key occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.
Role Overview:
The Leasing Associate will be responsible for implementing the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. This will involve all activities related to leasing to new residents, maintaining resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leasing activities and be experienced in working with in-house systems as part of a team. You will assist the management team in enhancing and sustaining the building's reputation and brand within the local community, driving revenue, managing costs, and striving to achieve the highest possible approval ratings for service and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will perform all leasing duties, including greeting and qualifying prospective residents, organising community tours and apartment viewings, processing applications, preparing leases and move-in packages, and ensuring a smooth transition during move-ins and lease signings.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any resident concerns or inquiries, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently or escalated as needed.
- Proactively work towards securing lease renewals and maintaining high resident retention rates.
- Identify areas for improvement within the leasing process and provide suggestions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in leasing, lettings or property management, ideally in residential, mixed-use, or commercial developments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both prospective residents and existing tenants.
- Proficiency in using leasing systems and CRM tools.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
