The Java Market

This is a full life cycle, 360, business development opportunity. As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll step into a role that's both demanding and incredibly fulfilling, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and driving business development through new sales and nurturing existing relationships.

For those looking a "quick dollar" or chasing the "fast buck" then this market isn't for you. The Contract Java Market is a very candidate centric market and as a contract focused recruiter you need to be prepared to invest the time to meet your candidates, get out to your network of clients and managers, look at the bigger picture, be patient and very much a relationship builder. You do all of this and follow the SThree blueprint then the medium to long term outcomes are very rewarding. This is a career not just a job!

Is the Java market an exciting and rewarding sector? ….. ABSOLUTELY …. Recruitment Consultants in the SThree Leeds office have held contract order books of £15k and £10k per week respectfully. That knowledge and understanding is still present in the Leeds office and waiting to be passed on to the next Java Specialist Recruitment Consultant wanting to join the SThree City of the Year team.

One of the greatest attractions to the Contract Java market is the fact it's a proven market and tends to be "high value / long term" placements. SThree have clients who have contractor placements on assignment, that you can pick up from day one. Whilst we can give you clients, candidates and job vacancies immediately, this is still a 360, new business sales recruitment role. With the Java market being a very "network based" sector you realistically only need 3-5 enterprise type customers to reach £10k per week order book.

Experience as a Java Recruitment Consultant would be ideal - however we are open to applications from other markets. As long as 360 / full life cycle / sales / business development has been the focus of your experience. Please note - This opportunity is NOT a pure resourcing role, NOT a HR role, NOT a Talent Advisory role, NOT an Inhouse / Onsite TA Partner role.
