Sales / Estimating Manager - Large Scale Construction
Location - West Yorkshire (travel expected)
Salary - Up to £70,000 depending on experience
A leading structural provider is looking for a Sales / Estimating Manager to join their team. This key role involves managing the estimating process, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring competitive, profitable project bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate competitive material prices
- Liaise with various clients’ engineers, architects, infrastructure consultants, etc
- Bids and tenders including presentations
- Successfully convert sales opportunities into project revenue
- Leading the Estimating Team, ensuring KPIs are met
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in structural steel & cost estimation
- Leadership & negotiation skills
- Experience pricing large-scale projects from 50-3,000 tonnes
- Understanding of technical specifications and drawings
- Qualification in building studies or similar
