Sales / Estimating Manager - Large Scale Construction

Location - West Yorkshire (travel expected)

Salary - Up to £70,000 depending on experience

A leading structural provider is looking for a Sales / Estimating Manager to join their team. This key role involves managing the estimating process, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring competitive, profitable project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate competitive material prices
  • Liaise with various clients’ engineers, architects, infrastructure consultants, etc
  • Bids and tenders including presentations
  • Successfully convert sales opportunities into project revenue
  • Leading the Estimating Team, ensuring KPIs are met

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong background in structural steel & cost estimation
  • Leadership & negotiation skills
  • Experience pricing large-scale projects from 50-3,000 tonnes
  • Understanding of technical specifications and drawings
  • Qualification in building studies or similar
