Our client is a renewable energy installation company specialising in delivering solar PV systems for the commercial sector.
Due to company growth, they are now seeking a Telehandler join the team.
This is a working position so you must be happy to assist the installers with various tasks off the telehandler too. Experience in Solar PV would be preferred and beneficial.
This will be a role based on site, you must be willing to travel and stay away as the location of projects will vary.
Role Overview:
Operate tele-handling equipment and assist with the installation of solar PV systems.
Gain hands-on experience and develop skills in solar installation through training.
Package:
- £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
- 28 Days Holiday
- Monday – Friday
- Overtime and weekend work available
- All expenses covered when staying away including accommodation and meal allowances.

Responsibilities:
Operate tele-handling equipment to support the installation of solar panels and equipment.
Assist installers with various tasks related to solar PV installation.
Learn and adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Participate in site assessments and pre-start surveys.
Receive training and guidance from the Team Leader, Technical Manager, and Installers.
Perform basic tasks and gradually take on more complex responsibilities as training progresses.
Requirements
- CPCS or NPORS Card
- Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to travel and stay away is a must
