Monday Thursday (7:30 am 4:00 pm) and Friday (7:30 am 12:30 pm)

About The Company:

Our client was founded in April 2016 and began serving diverse businesses in 2012. Today, they proudly support over 100 clients across the UK.

Their experienced team of accountants and tax advisors brings over 30 years of expertise to sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and start-ups. They are now looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join the team.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Prepare and finalise limited company accounts under FRS102/FRS105
  • Prepare corporation tax returns and handle company secretarial work
  • Manage company formations and maintain compliance with regulations
  • Use software such as Xero and Sage to simplify processes
  • Liaise with clients to provide expert advice and support on financial matters
  • Review and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and training as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices in accountancy

Person requirements:

  • Strong experience in an accountancy practice, ideally with a focus on limited company accounts
  • AAT qualification or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
  • Proficiency in producing detailed financial documents and reports
  • Familiarity with FRS102/FRS105 and corporation tax regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of initiative
  • Experience in managing client relationships and providing exceptional service
  • Team player who can also work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively
