Are you a Business Development Manager with experience selling fluid control products into the water industry looking for a pivotal and highly autonomous role for a rapidly growing company, in a challenging yet rewarding position where you can truly make your mark in the business?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to step into a brand new role developing new business (80%) and managing key accounts (20%) across the North of England for a long-standing and continuously growing company.

In this role you will be managing your own diary to organise client meetings with companies in the water industry, marketing the specialist products on offer. This will include frequent travel to client sites, video calls, and attending exhibitions, then producing quotations and following the order through.

Founded nearly 20 years ago, this design and manufacturing company produce fluid control products and work with the largest water utilities companies across the UK, looking to delve into further markets and triple their turnover in the next 10 years.

This role would suit a Business Development Manager from the water industry with experience selling fluid control products looking to be recognised as a key part of a large, thriving business they will be proud to work for.

The Role:

  • Selling fluid control products and process equipment
  • Developing new business (80%) and managing key accounts (20%)
  • Managing your own diary, full autonomy to plan your days
  • Home based, attending clients sites and exhibitions across the North of England

The Person:

  • Business Development Manager or similar
  • Water industry background
  • Experience selling fluid control products (stoplogs, penstocks, screens etc)
