Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 Full time, Office Based.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with an established and well recognised flooring business who are looking to expand on their finance team by welcoming a Finance Assistant/ Accounts Assistant to the business.

Main Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant

Sales Ledger

Customer invoicing and sending statements
Bulk sales invoicing
Chasing payments
Online sales payment reconciliations
Raise queries with sales teams or other departments on incomplete sales orders, chase up and resolve

Purchase Ledger

Checking supplier statements
Chasing missing purchase invoices,
Resolving supplier / statement queries,
Balance statements to the system
Assist with Accounts Inbox as required, particularly at busy periods
Cover for Company credit card reconciliations and Paypal

General Admin duties

Scanning, filing, answering calls and other duties as required within the finance team

Experience and Skills required

The ideal candidate would hold a finance degree (AAT) – not essential.
Experience of sales and purchase ledger
Excellent attention to detail
Highly skilled within Excel.
