Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a large business located in South Leeds.
This is a permanent full-time position, initially recruited on a temporary to permanent basis.
Candidates with experience in a similar role are preferred, but those looking to advance from a transactional purchase ledger position will also be considered.
Key responsibilities include assisting in monthly management accounts preparation, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting both credit control and purchase ledger functions.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should ideally have prior experience in accounting or finance.

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a large business in South Leeds. This role is a permanent full-time position, which is recruited on a temporary to permanent basis.

It would be advantageous if you experience in a similar position although candidates looking to "step up" from a more transactional purchase ledger position will also be considered.

Some of the key duties will include;

Provide administrative assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts and month endprocess
Establish appropriate books and records for cash, bank, fixed assets, stocks, debtors and creditors
Carry out daily bank checks to ensure all cash is correctly posted
Support the credit control function
Support the purchase ledger function, including the coding and posting of supplier invoices
