An opportunity has arisen for this start up business on the outskirts of south Leeds who are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Finance Assistant who can work closely, support and lead the wider finance team. This full time, fully office-based role is ideal for an experienced finance assistant who has strong team leader/ people management experience and is seeking a new opportunity.

Day to day tasks will include;

  • Processing weekly payment runs
  • Supporting the wider team with finance enquiries
  • Working with purchase and sales ledger teams to ensure they have meet deadlines
  • Supporting the purchase and sales ledger workload when needed
  • Working closely with credit control to ensure debt levels are managed
  • Working across departments to resolve any queries linked to accounts
  • Assisting the management accountant
  • Managing the team on a day-to-day basis

The successful candidate will have worked to a team leader level and have experience of dealing with a high volume of transactions and queries. Working 40 hours per week, the successful candidate will have;

  • Minimum of 5 years general Finance Assistant experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven people management experience
  • Advanced Excel user
  • AAT Level 2 Qualified
  • Sage Line 50
