We are looking for a dedicated individual who can inspire and support students across various subjects, ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of teaching staff.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in the school community, providing stability and structure for students during their learning journey. You will need to be confident, adaptable, and able to engage with students in a way that fosters a positive learning environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students remain focused on set tasks.
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and supporting students with their learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Maintaining a calm and constructive learning environment.
- Offering support and encouragement to students, helping them to stay engaged and motivated.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students of different abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover a variety of subjects.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for education.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
