Tradewind Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant and welcoming secondary school in Leeds. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can inspire and support students across various subjects, ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of teaching staff.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in the school community, providing stability and structure for students during their learning journey. You will need to be confident, adaptable, and able to engage with students in a way that fosters a positive learning environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students remain focused on set tasks.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and supporting students with their learning.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
  • Maintaining a calm and constructive learning environment.
  • Offering support and encouragement to students, helping them to stay engaged and motivated.
