We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team in a Leeds secondary school. This full-time position will run until Christmas, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student's learning.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE in secondary education is essential.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Passion for English and a commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to secondary school students, following the national curriculum.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities, fostering a love for literature and language.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and mutual respect.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the development of teaching strategies and resources.
