Secondary Education English Teacher
Veritas Education are searching for an English teacher at a Secondary School in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
Role:
- You will be required to plan, prepare and deliver outstanding English lessons.
- Support the children with their work, activities and motivate the children to complete tasks to the best of their ability
- Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum requirements in the subject specific discipline
- Encourage positive behaviour and be a positive role model to the children inside the classroom and on the playground
Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- The ability to teach to GCSE curriculum.
- Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
- Candidates must hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS upon registration
- Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and any relevant overseas check where necessary
