Academics have a fantastic History teacher position starting from April 2025, this position will run until July 2025 with the likelihood of a permanent contract from September 2025. The History teacher position will be based at one of our diverse schools in East Leeds. The school prides themselves on providing support to students of all abilities, including students with autism and communication needs, as well as being determined to make sure the students reach their full potential. In the schools most recent OFSTED report they received an overall grade of "good".
About the role:The School are looking for a passionate and willing History teacher to make an impact on the curriculum as well as bring out the best from the students.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching students across KS3 and KS4.
- Engaging with other members of the team by sharing ideas and suggesting ways the curriculum could be adjusted or improved.
- Deliver captivating lessons that will engage the students.
- Display strong behaviour management and have the ability to control the classroom.

Requirements for the History teacher role:
- Right to work in the UK
- Extensive History Knowledge
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- A degree relevant to History.
