Academics have a fantastic History teacher position starting from January 2025, this position will run until July 2025 with the likelihood of a permanent contract from September 2025. The History teacher position will be based at one of our secondary schools in Wakefield. About the role: The School are looking for a passionate and willing History teacher to make an impact on the curriculum as well as bring out the best from the students.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Teaching students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Engaging with other members of the team by sharing ideas and suggesting ways the curriculum could be adjusted or improved.
  • Deliver captivating lessons that will engage the students.
  • Display strong behaviour management and have the ability to control the classroom.
