We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to start ASAP and potentially secure a permanent position, making a long-term impact on student's academic journeys.

Requirements:
  • QTS or PGCE (Qualified Teacher Status or Postgraduate Certificate in Education) - essential.
  • Strong experience teaching Maths at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) - essential.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for Maths and a commitment to driving student success.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess, mark, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting improvement goals.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement.
  • Work closely with the Maths department to develop schemes of work and contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support student well being.
  • Participate in school activities, parent's evenings, and staff meetings as required.
