About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students aged 11-16, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
- Support the school's aims and objectives for teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
