Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to engaging and inspiring students. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons, developing curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to secondary school students.
Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and school goals.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and advancements in science education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification or license in secondary education.
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
Strong knowledge of science subjects and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for science and education, with a commitment to student success.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
