As a Spanish teacher you will be based at one of our diverse secondary schools in West Leeds. In their most recent Ofsted report they were given an overall grade of "good" and have been praised for setting clear expectations for the behaviour of students and enhancing their personal development. The school also assist those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), full training is provided to recognise the needs of those with SEND.

Your role as a Spanish teacher:

  • Demonstrating excellent knowledge to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Track student's progression, provide feedback and help them succeed!
  • Engaging with other members of the curriculum by sharing ideas with the MFL team
  • Managing behaviour and controlling the classroom

Requirements for the Spanish teacher role:

  • Previous experience teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • A degree relevant to Spanish
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
