The Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Inspire students to explore various materials, tools, and techniques, building essential skills in design and problem-solving
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Support the development of the curriculum, ensuring it remains engaging, innovative, and aligned with national standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and productive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified DT Teacher with relevant experience in secondary education
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and practical skills essential in Design Technology
- A creative and resourceful approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons for a variety of learning styles
- Excellent classroom management skills and a proactive attitude towards safeguarding and student welfare
